The Bavarian Manor is located in Purling, just a few miles from the Roundtopia trail system. We hope to connect the trail system to the Bavarian Manor in the near future. They occupy 100 acres and recently hosted the NICA New York State High School Mountain Bike Championships, with great success. They offer lodging, dining, and a great bar.

The Crystal Brook Resort is located in Round Top. It is a German style, family-friendly resort with meals and rooms. They also have a large outdoor pool and tennis courts, and they are right in the middle of the RTMBA trail system.

The Glen Falls House is a family resort in Round Top. They are across the street from Riedlbauer's Resort and the two are connected by a 60' bridge spanning a beautiful stream. The trail system behind the Glen Falls House consists of mostly beginner and intermediate trails. The trails are well-marked and there are three waterfalls to relax by. In order to access the rest of the RTMBA trail system, one must ride across the street to the "Ale Trail".

Riedlbauer's Resort is a great place to stay for the whole family, it is also one of the trail heads for the RTMBA trail system. They have plenty of parking, comfortable rooms, meals, an indoor and outdoor pool, an outdoor BierGarten, driving range, a waterfall and of course, beautiful trails. If you are coming to just use the trails, it's best to park by the driving range. There are bathrooms there as well.

The Winter Clove Inn is located in Round Top at the end of Winter Clove Rd. The resort has been in operation since 1863 and is nestled against the Catskill Mountains. They have great mountain bike trails, which have some of the steeper climbs and descents, as well as some great novice terrain as well. There is a covered bridge with a waterfall, a bowling alley, conference center and both an indoor and outdoor pool. They have 50 rooms and serve home-cooked meals as well. Parking for the RTMBA trail system is around the side of their bowling alley.

Whip-O-Will campsites are right down the road from the RTMBA trail system, on Hearts Content Rd. in Purling. We hope to one day extend the trail system right to the campground. This is a modern, clean campground with all the amenities you would expect.

The Circle W cafe is a great place to grab a bite or even do a little grocery shopping. The food is home made and locally sourced, and of course delicious! They are located on Rte 23A in Palenville a mere 8 miles from the Roundtopia trail network. They are open 7 days a week from 8 am - 5pm, and the kitchen closes at 4:30 pm.

Harmann's Kaffeehaus is located in the center of Round Top at 1507 Hearts Content Road, right next to the firehouse. Hartmann's is not only a great place for breakfast and lunch, but it is also a wonderful bakery, making goodies since 1959.

Nussy's Bier Garten is located at Riedlbauer's Resort's golf driving range, and is practically the hub of summer mountain biking in Round Top. They are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, Fri-Mon from 1pm - 7pm. There is plenty of parking, an outdoor bar and grill, serving bratwurst, schnitzel, clams, and more...plus you favorite german beers on draught. They also have proper restrooms with flush toilets and running water.

The Mountain Brauhaus is located in Round Top and is right at the top of the favorite local trail the"Ale Trail". There is also a connector trail to the Brauhaus from the "Ale Trail" called "Pilsner Pass". They have even put in a bike rack! The Brauhuas is a traditional German dance hall serving up German/American cuisine, German beer, and the home of many events throughout the season. Check out their calendar for more details.

Area Attractions
The Blackhead Mountain Lodge and Country Club is an 18 hole, par 72 golf course, loctated at the end of Blackhead Mountain Rd. in Round Top. They have a great rustic clubhouse that is open for lunch and cocktails. They also have rooms and a conference center. This is the home of Maassmann's restaurant, as well. A great place for fine German dining and homemade desserts.

Other Bike Riding Areas
Windham Mountain Bike Park is located at Windham Mountain Ski area in Windham, N.Y. They have two new, Gravity Logic built trails running from the top of the mountain to the bottom. Wilderness Roll is a jump trail, with lots of table tops, switchbacks and berms. Bataviaskill is a very long downhill singletrack with jumps, drops and berms. The citizen's downhill course, and the UCI downhill course are both open as well, barring any racing action.

Overlook Mountain Bikes is located in Woodstock, N.Y. , roughly 20 miles from the Roundtopia trail network. They are a full service repair shop as well as a dealer for Giant, Kona and Salsa, just to name a few. They also have a fleet of demo and rental bikes.

Windham Mountain Outfitters is located in Windham, 17 miles from the Roundtopia trail system. They are a dealer for both Trek and Cannondale. They are a full service bike shop and have rentals available as well. While in Windham, check out the trails at Elm Ridge, maps are available at Windham Mtn. Outfitters. Windham is also home to the Windham Path, an easy 1.25 mile, off road loop, that is graded and well suited for beginners.
